Bar del Pi is a typical tapas bar famous in Barcelona. (Also one of my favorites!) It is located in the very heart of the Gotic district, the center of the city. That means you can take a nice walk in the medieval gothic quarter after a nice meal! Bar del Pi offers not only the traditional tapas in the most authentic ways but also tasty Cava, a local wine, which is included in this tour. Two must-order tapas we recommend: La bomba, one of the most popular and delicious tapas in Spain. A potato ball filled with meat (traditionally we use meat, nowadays we use different fillings like octopus, pea, which we will try in another restaurant.), deep fried and served with a special spicy sauce. Pulpo Gallego, A Galician-style grilled octopus Tapa, originated in the region of Galicia where octopus is a specialty and a common catch for local fishermen. Address: Plaça Sant Josep Oriol, 1, 08002Barcelona, Spain Website: Bar del Pi - Barcelona Opening hours: Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 11pm / Saturday 9.30pm to 11pm / Sunday 10am to 10pm Phone: +34 93 302 21 23 Metro/Bus: Metro: Catalunya or Liceu (L1,L3)

This Catalan wine bar is definitely worth the visit!! It is also hidden in the historical center of Barcelona at Barri Gótic (The Gothic Quarter). Bodega La Palma, is one of many historical bars in Barcelona, with almost 100 years long history. It has a very unique atmosphere and locals love this place. So, if you want to get away from the touristic crowd of Barcelona, Bodega La Palma is the place to be. Here you can try both the typical Catalan cuisine and exclusive Spanish wines, vermouth, and cava. They have a wide range of locally produced wines of high quality. You may also find some tapas that are different from the ordinary tapas you eat in other tapas bars. What we recommend here is, to start with a cup of Vermut, have some Patata Bravas, and order different types of Croquettes such as Squid Croquette, Croquetas de Jamón, Pea, and Mint Croquettes. They also have stuffed squid, delicious ducks, and sweet peppers stuffed with mushrooms. If you're craving a dessert, order a lemon sorbet! it's worth it. Address: C. de la Palma de Sant Just, 7, 08002 Barcelona, Spain Website: http://www.bodegalapalma.com Average Price: 18€

Bar la Plata is a lovely and cozy small local tapas bar. But it is probably one of the most visited bars in Barcelona. If you want to feel the life of Barcelona and its residents visit Bar La Plata. They famously ONLY serve five tapas, crispy fried sardines (pescaditos), buttifarra sausage, a salad of tomato wedges and raw onions, or anchovies and olives and pan con tomate (Spanish tomato bread). Btw, be prepared to wait or stand, because there are six, usually crowded, tables! (It's cozy but small xD) The foods go well with (of course) wines! But do you know the special way of drinking wine in Spain? With a porrón glass. A porrón is a type of Catalonian container for wines, made of glass with a narrow spout that can be used for pouring wine into a glass, or—how's it's usually done in Catalan—directly into your mouth (without touching the spout). In this way, the porrón can be passed from person to person at the table, allowing everyone to share the wine! It's super fun! You must try it! Address: Carrer de la Mercè, 28, 08002 Barcelona, Spain Website: http://barlaplata.com Open hours: 11:30am- 3pm, 6-11pm, Sunday closed.

Looking for the best Jamon(Spanish ham) in Barcelona? I give you my best recommendation - Bodega La Tinaja, located near Passeig del Born. Come to this place to enjoy the delicious authentic Spanish cuisines. With the typical tapas, jamon and Spanish wine or good rum, I'm sure you will have a great time here! The tastiest dish is for sure the freshly cut ham (sometimes they do it right in front of your table!) Take your chance to try the dishes and drinks I recommend in this tour: La Sendal Wine; Ham(Jamon); Pan ConTomate, Catalan Crème (always the best for desert), RATAFIA RUSSET (Liquor) Address: Carrer de l'Esparteria, 9, 08003 Barcelona, Spain Website: https://www.instagram.com/bodegalatinaja/ Open hours: 7pm-12pm, Sunday Closed.
